Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) are quickly emerging as a dominant method of expressing and managing strategic objectives across many industries and organizations, especially in these uncertain times. In fact, this number doubled between 2020 and 2021 during COVID, with now a quarter or large organizations piloting or scaling OKRs (2021 There be Giants).
Organizations across many sectors already benefited from increased clarity, focus, alignment, transparency, accountability, staff engagement, and higher success rate of objectives. OKRs are especially effective with high uncertainty and rate of change.
